1. Have access to Zoho Recruit module
   
2. Have permissions to work with applications
   
3. To create an application, you must have at least one candidate and one job opening

About Zoho Recruit

Zoho Recruit is the Zoho application that allows us to handle the selection and recruitment process: from job posting, to interviews and candidates hiring, it makes it easy to hire people for the company. Since it's integrated to other Zoho applications, like Zoho People, it makes it easy to integrate candidates' information and convert it to an active employee. To access Zoho Recruit, type the next URL in any web browser:

recruit.zoho.com

How to create applications in Zoho Recruit

An application is basically the relation that is created when a candidate is linked to a job opening. By linking these two things, the process of recruitment is then managed from the application itself, making it easier to keep track of every aspect of said process. 

Among other things, an application allows you to handle:

1. Notes and attachments
   
2. Check the candidate resume
3. Ratings and reviews for a candidate
   
4. Interviews
   
5. To-dos
   
6. Communication via SMS or e-mail
   

The status of an application can be changed along the process. To create an application, click on the "Applications" module and then click on the "Create application" button:

Now, select the candidate you want to link to a job opening and click the "Associate now" button:

Now, choose the job opening, the application status and write down any comment. Finally, press "Associate":

This will generate an application in the module, that can be used to track the candidate's progression through the hiring process.
