Zoho WorkDrive interface
Zoho WorkDrive is Zoho's cloud. It works exactly like Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive, allowing you to store information like documents, videos and audio. WorkDrive is key in the Zoho ecosystem as it gathers documents from all Zoho apps and unites them in one place. The first time you access Zoho WorkDrive, you will see a screen like this one:



To the left, you have access to the most categories like all unread (files they've shared with you, but you haven't opened yet), recent files, favorites, labels, shared with you and your folders. Click the "My Folders" category to get access to all your files. Now, you can see your personal folders in the center of the screen:


Idea
Create new items
To create a new document, first make sure to access the folder you want to store that element in. Then, click the "New" button to the right of the screen and select the desired type of file:


The available options are:

  1. Folder: allows you to create a folder in the location you are at
  2. Zoho Writer / Sheet / Show: select one of these options to create a new document, spreadsheet or presentation. Since Zoho has it's own office suite, it's easy to create new documents from here
  3. Upload files / upload folder: these options allow you to upload one or more files or even an entire folder, from your computer
  4. Code snippet: allows you to write or paste programming code that can be later accessed through Zoho built-in code editor
  5. Import from cloud: allows you to connect to an external cloud service (Google Drive, Box, DropBox, OneDrive or Evernote) to get files from there to Zoho WorkDrive
  6. Recording: allows you to record your screen, a video or audio using your computers webcam and microphone
  7. Zia AI: if enabled for the company, this option allows you to generate content with the help of Zoho's Artificial Intelligence (Zia)
Idea
Sharing and managing files
You can execute multiple actions in your files, like sharing, downloading and deleting them. To do this, select a file [1] and then choose the appropriate option to the top right:


Finally, you can always search your WorkDrive in case you can't find a file. To do that, click the "Search" option to the upper right side of the screen:


Then, type something in the box and Zoho WorkDrive will look for it:
